Pixhoriz, the web platform for viewing, selecting, and sharing photos and images on a big screen, makes its first appearance today. To those three notions, I could also add: "and horizontally", spanning a horizon of both time and space, a feature that is quite rare, if not non-existent, when it comes to managing large content collections. Pixhoriz -> Horizon, you might have already made the connection!
My name is Nicolas, and I am the developer behind this platform. It was born from a vision, inspired by a personal need: for myself, having accumulated so many photos over the years; for my son, an amateur wildlife photographer; and for my daughter, a professional artist.
What you will discover today is just the beginning of a journey. Development is taking place in four phases, and this is only the first to be revealed, because it lies at the very heart of my vision. You'll be able to play around with it, get a feel for how it works, leave feedback, and share your own ideas.
I won't say any more for now. You’ll find a detailed text on the website that provides plenty of information. I hope many of you will come satisfy your curiosity, and above all, I look forward to hearing from you (you'll find several ways to contact me at the bottom of that detailed text).
Happy exploring!
